About The Author
Franklin Oliver is a high school teacher and poet. He holds academic degrees in History, Religious Studies and Secondary Education.  Franklin spent several years working in collegiate administration before pursuing a life long dream of teaching. His courses include United States history, Black American history, Sociology and a class on Genocide. He has recently adapted his Genocide class for accessibility via online education.

In the last several years Franklin has presented his poetry in a wide variety of forums and is consistently exploring new methods for sharing his poetry. His first book, MOSAIC, has been highlighted on numerous websites and Franklin’s poetry has been taught in courses at the University of Michigan and University of Georgia.
